Greetings from Watters Montessori Academy and thank you for your interest.

Watters Montessori Academy (WMA) is a co-educational school educating children from 6 weeks to 9 years old. Our school is based on the
philosophy of Dr. Maria Montessori, we concentrate on the development of math, language, art, music, world cultures and the formation of social
responsibility. We also aim to concentrate on the all round development of the child, encourage curiosity and nurture their Creativity. Our goal is
to develop in our student “a love of learning” that will guide and sustain them throughout their lives.

Every child is unique. Our teaching curriculum and program is designed keeping this in mind. We encourage every individual to grow according
to their capacity and nourish those aspects of the child in which they show special aptitude. Montessori classrooms categorize activities that are
appropriately challenging for children at different ages. Such a curriculum inspires the child in building of character, helps them gain a sense of
social and global responsibility and develops inner discipline.

Our staff is Montessori trained and certified. Maria Montessori believed that the teacher is a mother substitute for the child. We believe in giving
opportunity to capable, competent and trained teachers to be your child’s educator and guide. Our Facility has an indoor Gymnasium, Music
room, Computer areas, two covered outdoor play areas and an on-site Greenhouse. The classrooms are designed for the pace and interests of
children up to the age of nine. Each classroom environment is prepared by an experienced Montessori teacher using materials supplied by
Montessori specialists Nienhuis and Gonzagarredi. The materials are logically divided to provide easy accessibility. All classrooms have a lot of
natural light and are very spacious with high ceilings.  These environmental factors stimulate the curiosity of the child, makes them comfortable
and helps them concentrate.
